santico.typepad.com > Keri's Christmas Concert 2010

Keri's school put on a Christmas Concert. Each class stood together and different classes participated in different songs. It was a real delight to see the kids and to enjoy Keri's enthusiastic singing. There were hand movements for several songs and it was just a nice, fun evening. Just yesterday mom played the video of the concert; it was professionally recorded from a booth at the back of the church and it was a fun reminder of that evening. If you click on the first photo, you'll see a larger version and from then you can just hit "next" to continue.

The place is getting packed; gotta sit before people snag the seats!

Reaching Out

Reaching Out

At some point we saw Grandma Sharon. Maybe Kelly is reaching out to her.

Singing Along

Singing Along

It was a bummer that I couldn't get shots of the kids singing. We were too far away (relatively speaking) but the church made a video and we just saw it yesterday. Very well-done!

Concert Backdrop

Concert Backdrop

The kids were lined up across the stage with this adorable backdrop. The kids were all in red and it was very festive.

Atmosphere

Atmosphere

I managed a shot from the back of the church after most people left. It would have been nice if the kids were still there, but....

What Happened Here?

What Happened Here?

I almost deleted this photo but it's funny because it's candid and because it allows you to come up with your own version of what was going on. I honestly don't remember!

The Joyful Star

The Joyful Star

It was nice to see Keri so happy. She was looking forward to the concert, had a ball singing, and enjoyed the afterglow of the performance.

I just love this shot! No other words are necessary.

Arsty Fartsy Me

I loved seeing the reflection of the stage/backdrop in the windows at the back of the church.

Wild One

Wild One

Patty-cake with Uncle Pete's face. It didn't last long.... There was a little afterparty in the auditorium with a LOT of Christmas cookies and wild kids running around. It was too busy to take pictures there but let's just say the kids burned a lot of steam there.
