Keri's school put on a Christmas Concert. Each class stood together and different classes participated in different songs. It was a real delight to see the kids and to enjoy Keri's enthusiastic singing. There were hand movements for several songs and it was just a nice, fun evening. Just yesterday mom played the video of the concert; it was professionally recorded from a booth at the back of the church and it was a fun reminder of that evening. Getting ready for the concert. Hamming it up by showing off the sparkly pockets on her jeans.
It was a bummer that I couldn't get shots of the kids singing. We were too far away (relatively speaking) but the church made a video and we just saw it yesterday. Very well-done!
The kids were lined up across the stage with this adorable backdrop. The kids were all in red and it was very festive.
I managed a shot from the back of the church after most people left. It would have been nice if the kids were still there, but....
I almost deleted this photo but it's funny because it's candid and because it allows you to come up with your own version of what was going on. I honestly don't remember!
It was nice to see Keri so happy. She was looking forward to the concert, had a ball singing, and enjoyed the afterglow of the performance.
I loved seeing the reflection of the stage/backdrop in the windows at the back of the church.
Patty-cake with Uncle Pete's face. It didn't last long.... There was a little afterparty in the auditorium with a LOT of Christmas cookies and wild kids running around. It was too busy to take pictures there but let's just say the kids burned a lot of steam there.
